Never thought I'd see this thread alive again. It'd be great to see a revival for a potential medieval 2 remaster.

Well I haven't thought of it until you phrased it like that... :whistling
Would love to see this mod ported to the remaster...
They should rethink the time limits a bit tbh. Game allows for faster expansion than in real life.
Yeah there won't be ahistorical units added.
It's nice to hear that you'd actually consider doing that in case of a Medieval 2 remaster!
What in the goddamn :blushing: + rep
Empire Total War remastered :blushing:
Time to colonize India as the Boii
I like this one because I'd love to see that part of India included. It's certainly a personal bias lol.

This mod got even better now that CA dropped support for their Three Kingdoms game
you can't link images directly from your hard drive, you need to upload them
Finally. Hussites in a Medieval 2 mod :luv:
They won't change the UI as it was a deliberate decision to have it changed :p
Rome 2 is also eight years old.
The game runs well on my PC and I am getting used to the UI, can't really complain.
The guys over at Dominion of the Sword managed to implement faction specific music. Maybe you could check out their forums. I think there was a guide linked there somewhere but I cannot remember...

Enigmatic and laconic answer as usual
Because this is a remaster done by Feral Interactive who did the mobile ports of the game and not a thorough remake by CA which isn't needed because Rome 2 exists.
My day is made :)
Yeah this is what worked for me.
I know it's not the best move but how would they be able to verify that you own it?
This only accounts to CD version owners who do not activate their key. I activated mine, got Rome 1 on Steam that way, and now I pre-ordered the remaster while getting 50% off. If you don't have a...
1) The remaster is happening on the initiative of Feral Interactive.
2) The CD keys of retail Rome 1 copies can be activated on Steam. I did it with my own Gold Edition.
Yeah now they have confirmed they are lifting the old hardcoded faction and region limits.
Why do people on this forum always have to be so stuck up and salty? Especially since Roma_Victrix is citing primary sources which can be a basis for debate.
They count all playable factions across vanilla, Barbarian Invasion and Alexander
AFAIK they are working on a Medieval 2 port. So there is hope.
The game was just announced so I doubt there are any plans for a port
the 7 year old me inside myself made me already pre-order it hahaha
I think it looks well for what it is, a remaster. Not a remake or gigantic undertaking which is EB 2.
What is the idea behind the Zhang Ji death event?
Yeah they don't have custom missions.
Yeah new campaigns would be another way to be superior to Total War: Three Kingdoms :whistling
Amazing dedication
Game crashes anytime I try to load up a campaign. I used the 7Z download link.
Thank you for your takes
What's is your favourite faction btw, Seether? I have always a hard time to choose who to unite China with aside the four clans that have custom missions.
