Have you got a version that works with a regular EXE?

The one i have should work with the normal exe as its the same files tho not sure would you like me to upload it?

The cracked version has all the same files as well but doesn't run even on the Alexander EXE (the one that allows 500 EDU entries).

What is the entry in your short cut? eg "C\...\rometw-alx.exe -nm -show_err -mod:play_rome"

ah sorry its the cracked version i am using the shortcut they provided without realising it wasnt my disc bi since i downloaded it ages ago, is it still possible to create a shortcut for the files provided ? if so could you point me to a tutorial and ill make one so that people can play the rtw version while waiting for RotK?

As I said in the opening of the intro post: I have tried for a good while to make it RTW\BI\ALX compliant and didn't succeed.

But don't worry, hopefully we will have a public beta before the end of the year. Just tried out the bodyguard scripting and it seems it will work (after removing one model).

Are you going for more historical models or full Koei fantasy?

For the beta we will be using what was ported from the RTW mod, that is Koei-ish models, but in later development stages we will be looking for more historic models.

I'm glad to see this mod getting the work and attention that this era/region deserves. I've had my eye on this mod ever sense I started working toward my degree in Chinese language and international studies with a focus on China, so needless to say I am quite excited to see so much delicious goodness since I last checked in.

I only wish I had the modding skills required to offer some real help, but as it is, I hardly have the time.

Those being the circumstances, I'll throw in my best wishes with the rest of em. Can't wait to see more.
