I have succeeded in downloading and installing the new music pack. I am very pleased. The old music was getting very boring. Of course, you realize that you will have to do a few more of these because they do get repetative. Also, what tools are you using to make this type of file?

I have an extensive digital classical music collection. For example, I have many recordings of everything that Bach and Mozart ever composed. I would love to help if you would be so kind as to provide me with the same information as Sir_Thomas.

Just started looking through this site so I apologize for noobi:wub::

Hi all! First post. I'm new to TW modding; I played the hell out of RTW and the mods that were developed at the time. I bought but couldn't get as into MTW because I was starting graduate school and didn't have the time. Now that I know my way around neuroscience, I think I've got enought time to play ETW.

I can't thank you enough for what you do. I hope that I can help.

So this download is taking forever.... I'm going to go ahead and get started on my music pack.

As for how, Sir_Thomas, I assume you can just replace the mp3s and waves in the wonderful packfile manager (thank you LtChambers)

Announcing the pretentious classical music Pack:

Only my favorite recordings of my favorite classical music. I want to try and stick to periods that are in some way (at least in my mind appropriate) But I'm going to violate this.

European: I'll Try and stick with Mozart and Bach (period specific).

Battles: I'm thinking dissonant 20th century modern masters at their worst (Carter comes to mind, violent Stockhausen and Boulez, Die Solidaten)

American: Jazzy Ives and Gershwin

Title, loading screens and pre/post battle: romantic/post romantic marches and so forth (Beethoven, Brahms, Mahler, Prokofiev)

I guess that is what I need: wonderful packfile manager. I assume it is on this site somewhere. Also, what are we packing: wave or mp3? There is so much great music that could have been chosen.

I have it now, but I haven't the slightest idea how to use it. I have some mp3 files. I can try experimenting with those. If anyone has suggestions, I would appreciate hearing them.

This is what I have so far. I'm using 240k mp3s they sound fine. I love the american choices (eclectic melodic 20th century on purpose) I think that I like the 12tone ottoman empire, but I'll test it out a bit.

I'm going to finish this up this evening and start a new thread for it. Right now its 2.52 GB (could be a problem if I can't find a way to upload faster than these guys (maybe a torrent?)
