DownloadsThis is my second Map for Third Age Total War.
This map is (as the name suggests) of Edoras (as of the Film). It is for custom battles or one could create historical battles using it.
Unfortunately I could not put walls around it. I don't believe it's possible.
Coincidentally, when I loaded it into a custom battle, the first army was deployed in the town, the second army at the foot of the hill.
Please comment!

This deserves a big +rep!!!! The map is great!!!! I think you can add walls, because other maps had walls.... And the wooden pallisade would fit the wall from the movie really nic... Almost identical...  |

Very nice project, but there is still lot to do: -units are penetrating thru the buildings placed on the top of the hill. -Edoras etrance is almost directly on the edge of the map, the rest of the map is empty and unmodded. If the wall were present who would attack Edoras from the side? -the door of the top-most building lead into chasm. It would be good to improve the map.  |

Just a note to all: When producing battle maps, the borders of the map are larger than in the finished model. So finished maps (that you see) are smaller than the maps I edit. THIS IS THE GAME'S FAULT. I CAN ONLY GUESS THE REAL BOUNDARIES. |

Units are penetrating through buildings? Edoras entrance on edge of map? THE ABOVE ARE MAP EDITOR PROBLEMS, NOT MINE Door on topmost building leads to a chasm? - YOU'RE NOT MEANT TO GO THROUGH DOORS! Another Game problem. |

I put the file into Medieval 2 total war/mods/Third age/data/worlds/maps/custom and it still doesn't work!!! Can some one please help me! |
