I am a MAC guy. But I just partitioned my drive and will try and upload your mod to my windows side in the next few weeks. Really looking forward to fighting with or as the Etruscans. Mike |

I really like the concept of you mod, I am technologically retarded though, so how do you get the mod to install? Sorry for the dumb question, thank you so much, and when I play the mod, it will be rated! |

Installation: Download v0.9 and unzip it to your desktop 1. Navigate to your main Rome - Total War folder. 2. Move the folder titled "europa270bc" into the main Rome - Total War folder. 3. Go to your desktop and make a copy of your Rome - Total War shortcut. 4. Rename the shortcut to "310 B.C." 4a. There are some icons in the "europa270bc" folder you can use for the shortcut in order to distinguish it from the original RTW one. 5. Right click on the new shortcut and click on Properties and then the Shortcut tab. 6. In the target line, completely AFTER everything in quotes, paste this (with the space in front): -show_err -mod:europa270bc CHANGE NOTHING INSIDE THE QUOTES 7. Close everything up and you're good to go. |

Thanks for the help! It still does not work for me though  It says there is a "generic error" and cannot read, 'data/descr_battle_map_lightning_and_fog_control.txt' , so what should be done from here, or is it a lost cause? Sorry for this, thank you for helping. |

I think I do, because I had no mods on RTW when trying to use this one. Should I just delete the error script? |
