This tutorial is a "Work In Progress".
It is about merging models together and then reassigning vertex and vertex weights from redundant joints before deleting them.

STEP 1 : merging two models together
STEP 2 : reassigning vertices and vertex weights from redundant joints before removing them.
STEP 3 : reassigning materials (textures) before removing redundant materials.

The tutorial is a .swf file you can open with your Internet navigator (if you've installed flashplayer plugin).
I use Wink (freeware) to create it.
