So what is this group thing all about? Does it serve a purpose or just fulfil a natural herding instinct?
Yes we have a purpose....to share our love for a kind of music...like sharing our love for RTW.... and yes it is a natural instict against those who "bombard" us with new "rising music stars"(and quikly fallen) from the music industry............i think...
In the Court of the Crimson Kiiiii-iii--ing...
singing the "epitaph" for Britney Spears....
So what is this group thing all about? Does it serve a purpose or just fulfil a natural herding instinct? Of course it has a purpose...
Hey Guys, the name/avatar says it all. Classic rock... well rocks, and newer rock (save for perhaps Nirvana/Pearl Jam) sucks. Can't spell crap without rap, etc. etc. Favorite bands? In order: The Beatles The Doors (Jim Morrison is still awesome) Led Zeppelin The Who Jefferson Airplane But that list is always changing.
No real order: King Crimson Pink Floyd Black Sabbath The Zombies Love Jethro Tull And not all rap is bad Lizard King.
meh, I think so.
My favorite artists: Journey The Babys Bad English John Waite Neal Schon Steve Perry (oh my...) Mickey Thomas Hardline Jeff Scott Soto Talisman
Pink Floyd all the way!
Praise be to my lovely maiden!
Yes Genesis Led Zeppelin Black Sabbath Deep Purple The Kinks King Crimson The Who Rock on.

I have every single Led Zep cd ever made. Does that count? There has never been a greater guitarist than Jimmy Page and their never will be. Period.
Jimmy Page is god. But he shares his throne with Steve Howe. Technically, Howe is better, but nobody rocks like Page.
Though our mutual adoration of a wonderful musical style is all well and good, I almost feel compelled to spam Drum'n'Bass, Hip Hop and Baroque. Purely for the purposes of diversity. On a side note, Noble Savage is the most correct so far....
Why isn't Hendrix listed here
Miraj, I must disagree. Jimmy Page was a good guitarist, but certainly not the greatest.
Clapton is pretty godlike too.
