I've been reading TWC forums for some time but have only posted a few times. I play RTW and BI (Darthmod) and have just started on MTW2 (Stainless Steel 6.1) I belong to the Cleveland Tea Party, and the Cleveland 9/12 Group. Last 9/11 I was in DC for the big Tea Party march on the Capitol. I have my bus tickett and motel reservation to attend Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor rally in DC on 8/28. Hope to hear from you guys in the forum.

Unlike Dantman, I am a proud democratic american even though I respect the Tea Party for voicing their opinions. Democracy is incredible because of its diversity and longevity as a government.

Actually, about 25% of Tea Party members self identify as Democrats, so you may be closer than you think. As to the longevity part of Democracy, I hope you are right. It is because I am concerned about that, especially as a student of history, that I am involved with what I am. So many Americans seem to think that we are somehow immune to the forces of history that shape the rest of the World.

I did not know that so thanks for the info. Because of cable news, I assumed that all of the Tea Party members were former Republicans. I also hope I am right about democracy.

Left-leaning independent from California. Although I disagree heavily with groups such as the Tea Party, I realize that dissenting opinions is a vital key to the democratic (not the political party) values we hold so dear.

Hi. I'm a conservative American who probably takes politics a bit too seriously. I have to be careful due to my tendency too rant. And as long as you truly belive in whatever your political stance is, and aren't in it just for the gain, than I can respect your opinions.

Conservative from the south side of the "democratic machine city-known as Chicago( i will never vote democrat again in my life)." I love my country more than i can describe. I wish i had roots here to trace back to the Revolution. That would be awesome! Unfortunately, my grandparents came here in the early 1900's. After 9/11, everything changed for me, as far as saying what my heritage is. I could care less about my grandparents home countries now, I am an AMERICAN by blood!
