Have you always been keen on EB? Its a common occurence for you to ocassionally feel the need to come back to EB but in the same time to feel that something is missing from your experience with it? Wanna try something new? Then you seriously need to have a taste of multiplayer side of EB.

People dont usually use mods to go MP and by doing that they are missing a really enjoyable and interesting part of Total war gaming. And when comes to EB, which is one of the the most thorough, accurate and immersive mod out there, multiplayer battles are reaching another level. Just think solely about the generous rosters for each faction, just think about the countless posibilities to build an army to face your opponent. Furthermore EB Multiplayer comunity has balanced the game for MP so now each faction is desirable and redoubtable. This was also achieved with some clever army composition and fair play rules. This was the result of continous feedback of the players.

Speaking the EB Multiplayer comunity this is quite old. There are some old timers that are very experienced with the rosters but also newbies which are treated with the same respect. We play in LAN using Hamachi virtual private network where we set the matches and discuss strategy, history, in fact everything. Unlike the usual MP scene which is often quite rowdy, hostile and rude EB is a more pleasant way to have fun and gather experience while going online. Here players exchange advices, dont take everything too harsh, leave their egos aside, they stick to fair play rules, they play just for fun and passion for military history etc.

The usual EB Multiplayer fervour season is during summer when there are naturally more people willing to have some online fun. Those months have all the crazyness: team battles (2vs2, 3vs3 or larger) are on daily agenda, we reenact historical battles, we hold tournaments etc. This however doesnt prevent us to gather people and play the hack of EB out of the usual fervor time. You can always quickly install hamachi which is a lightweight and minimalistic software and log in from time to time and go for a battle when you have some time or keep it in the background to see whats up. In fact its very likely we will "multiplaying" the future EB II in the same way so if you are rather eagerly awaiting this magnificent mod you should get familiar with EB Multiplayer.
