Battle Submods
Faster Battles Submod (Steam Version)
This submod decreases battle duration by doing the following:
- Increasing hit chance.
- Increasing melee damage.
The results are generally faster battles while maintaining battle balance.

And yes I really wanted a slower battle mod, I like the more slow paced battle of DEI.

Agreed - I played vanilla before FoTE, and to me the duration of battles was very similar, so I definitely will try to slow it down. Are unit statistics in the slower battles submod changed for all factions, including the not-overhauled ones?

The battle mods mainly just change damage and/or hit chance (and unit speed for faster battles). So they affect all units.

Haven't tried vanilla Attila, so can't compare to that; but thank you for this slower battles mod, as FOTE feels far too quick (battle speed, not movement) compared to DEI for my own tastes as standard.

I cannot launch the standalone faster battles submod with the standalone FotE packs. The game says there is no compability :S

Is there an increased Missile accuracy submod? I don't like how the archers spray missiles everywhere hitting guys right in front of them, and even guys in their same unit. It would be great is there was a version that increased the missile accuracy or returned it to vanilla.

I think in vanilla most accuracy is also set to 0? I think its the marksmanship bonus in projectile tables that may be doing that.
