8. A burning Javelin makes a difference in damage application or morale, like you die even more after taking a burning javelin to your chest or are more terrified if the javelin hitting the ground next to you is on fire.

11. One region needs more than one occupy-able city. What always grinds my gears is the fact you can take an entire region, like France in Empire in like 3 turns by taking Paris. And having just watched the start of DiplexHeated's Let's Play:Suebi, he eliminated the Boii on his second turn by taking the capitol with his starting army. BS every region should be a mini campaign on their own, only then can it really be called Total War.

Tried the big battle of Carthage and the AI refuses to put any units on the walls LOL! That's quality there!

1. Can't retreat from battlefield
2. Can't toggle loose formation
3. No family tree
4. BAI is stupid, in the start id keeps a formation but if you get close to it the formation crubles and the units start running around like sheep!
I learned all this after i got the game, so ill never pre order from CA again

Yeah the battles are the worst ever yet so many are saying they are having a blast. Amazing because the battles ruin the game before i even get t the other problems.
All battles are a chaotic skirmish with no battle lines and no sensible tactics. Worst arcade expeirece of the TW series hands down.
