First time ever playing Attila. Should I use XAI?

Title basically says it all. I've got plenty of experience in almost every other TW game (have been playing butt loads of TWW lately) and figured I'd try Attila that I bought 2 years ago.

I see there's a number of big overhauls, and XAI looks like the most involved and thorough, and people seem to respect it as a general overall improvement.

If it's my first time playing the game ever, should I go ahead and just install all of XAI's modules and play that way?

I'm also really interested in some of Sebidee's mods (White Hun unit roster expansion, better army stances, and the Ebdani unit expansion), but I don't know if this will cause problems with all of XAI's changes.
