High Elf campaign: Clearing the sealanes
Hello, everyone!
If this question has already been answered, I apologize. I have been unable to find it.
I am playing a high elf campaign in BotET and enjoying myself immensely.
Thank you, modders, for this awesome experience! :)
Some time ago, I was ordered to clear the sealanes of pirates by conquering four settlements:
Karond Kar, Sartosa, Stroomstaad and Al-Haikk (sp?)
I am now close to landing my armies at two of the settlements, but I started to wonder:
Do I have to keep the settlements for myself, or can I grant them as gifts to allies?
Will the mission fail, I if am no longer in possession of the settlements?
If anyone knows, I would be most obliged! Thank you!
Best regards
Black Spiral

I think that you need to keep them at least until you have all four and complete the mission.

That would make a lot of sense. You're probably right.
Thank you, Mr. Nygren.

As long as you hold each one, you will receive a trade bonus at your ports, so holding 2 will give a smaller bonus, etc.
