Total War: Rome Refurbished
I had been working on a modification to the Darthmod for the first game, and thought it was good enough. Then, lo and behold, a remastered version comes out, so of course I bought it. Then I play it and find it to be nothing like what I'd hoped it'd be. I wanted a refurbished original, not almost a new game.
As a result, I have been cobbling together what I've got for a modification to this game that brings it closer to it's original state. I have new unit rosters, faction start reorganization, plans to return the UI to it's original state, and modifications to both the base game and Barbarian Invasion. Although I lack the skills to make it myself in full (I can write code for the "descr" and "export_descr" files, but that's about it), I have plans for it.
If you want to help me make this a reality, respond to me here and we can get in touch.

The remaster has the same units, regions and core gameplay as the original (and most of the changes like improved AI or new feature like merchants can be toggled off before you start a campaign). Your mod seems to want to change the map and the unit rosters and a lot more to make it a quite different game? It's a nice idea for a mod but unless I'm missing something this isn't returning it to the original state as that's more or less what Remastered is if you toggle off the new features in the campaign options?
Re: Total War: Rome Refurbished
So, I've been working further on this, and what it's become is halfway between remaster and refurbish. I named it Refurbished because I don't know what else to call it. What I'm aiming for is for it to have the same feel as the original game (keyboard shortcuts, UI, and all that) with changes made here and there to spruce it up. I have changed the map and added some new factions since making this post. If you're curious, I'd be happy to show you what I'm working on here.
Re: Total War: Rome Refurbished
I have been working further on my mod, and it has reached a new version. Although neither of these are fully complete (the Barbarian Invasion version especially so because I need campaign map modifications, and I cannot do art), here are the links to them on the Steam Workshop.

Barbarian Invasion: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...?id=2874805955
I need help on art, so if you can and will help me, I am on the Rome Total War Community Discord Server (https://discord.gg/e4sqNYHFJB) under the name Arcyllis, and you can also just reply here and I'll probably see it within at most a week (depends on when I remember to check this account XD)
