For forts youd need someone with some special advanced kindof software....i forget the name of it....you may just want to remove buildable walls from the settlements for now, later on if you get someone who can do it you can try to replace the settlement on the battle map with a small fort surrounded by trenches and what not....
It might be a good idea to get barbed wire as well, ask B-Dizl about that one.
For startpos i know CJA can do that stuff but whether he will help you or not is entirely up to him.
:)
asked some guys, but they both sayed that ts impossible to mod forts or maps in ETW or that its to coplicated.
Uh.. Why not to use a no forts mod then ?
yeah, we must do this...
Well u can still make wooden forts in ? perhaps but just editing the cannons in it like changing them into modern cannons or MGs? BTW wooden forts remain cool
mhm, machine guns instead of cannons...
Tho that would be over powerd :S
But u still have artillary :S
why would this be overpowered?
trenches also had mg positions.....and they where deadly!
Imagine charging ur infantry and like 10 MGs firing at ur squad they may rout before even firing a bullet without artillary support offcource but with artillary support the fort won't last a sec :P so the wooden forts maybe useless :P anyway i suggest to keep the wooden forts in for all nations wihlst the estren nations can still build wooden, "artillary" forts and Great forts like the Ottomans emergent Morroco Arabia and other ones . what do u say ?
there were still ole forts left and especially the ottomans were quite old-fashioned in ww1. they even used rank-fire agains arab rebel cavalry charge. at the beginning of the war they fought like in the late 19th century.
but the wooden fortīd be realistic: useless agains arty, absolutely deadly against inf.
I know they also used 19th century powder cannons too yes they did i saw it in a movie i can't remeber it's name tho :P
How much is the payment? :hmm::tongue:
like an indian childworkers wage.
We don't need to war, we want peace.
what? of course, man, in reallife, but thats a game.....so screw your consience :D
i could learn quickly, i am a student in software engineering so i can call it studying :) if you would like to teach me i am available all the time so just shoot me a mail
