Re: Port to Rome Remastered?
A conversion is not a slight undertaking, it would nearly rival the original creation of the mod and the makers, even the market are not the same as they once were.
In this case, the apparent project leader Stuie has not been present for some time and there has not been development long before that, so any initiative likely needs to start from scratch. According to the Catalogue entry you would need permission to publish any resulting works but perhaps working on something in the background and keeping Stuie in the loop in the event of return could be an option so there is less required for him to start from scratch. He hasn't been around for a while but perhaps prodding with progress could incentivize him to return, or perhaps you can find him still on other platforms like steam or moddb if he has moved on. However I find it unlikely he would wish to undertake this from scratch just from a poke.
There is a promising submod you might wish to look into though I don't think it's set for R:R, but a response may be more prompt if you want to go down that road.
Re: Port to Rome Remastered?

Re: Port to Rome Remastered?
Update from steam {from the guy thats porting it over}
I've been working on it this week. I was going to release 2 weeks ago but then noticed that the original Arthurian had a lots of unfinished buildings and other buildings that the dev team was working on but never got to finish, so I've been working on finishing them up and enabling them. Lots of buildings were missing like Celtic Christianity buildings, trade buildings such as Watermill, Stonemason, Carpenter, and others. The remastered version will enable those missing buildings. Also been working on adding some additional traits and ancillaries. I think I will release in the next 3 weeks.
Re: Port to Rome Remastered?

Hey there. All of this was done, actually. I personally finalized some of the buildings, like mills and aqueducts, making the icons and coding the stats, so I definitely know. There was also a really significant map update from our map guy back then, but somehow the last updates slipped away. I collected and compiled everyone's contributions, did the last changes and uploaded it to the dev board, that I definitely remember. The only one who could possibly still have these files is Agraes as he administered the dev board.

Re: Port to Rome Remastered?
Amazing! I was a beta tester for this mod and it is by far my favorite for the time period. I will be giving this a try.
