Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 3.0.0 Released!
[QUOTE=Frodo45127;16086041]First, you should not edit data.pack. Second, update to 3.0.3 and update your schemas. BOTH. And third, verify the games integrity and fix your data.pack.
It is works!!! Thanks alot!!!! Now i can change characteristics of the units! But if i should not edit data.pack, then how i can change the tables? I cant switch on mods in the menu. It writes "coming soon". I try to rename new mod to data_4.pack, but game does not see this file...
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 3.0.3 Released!
Hi Frodo what does updating the schemas mean?
(First, you should not edit data.pack. Second, update to 3.0.3 and update your schemas.)
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 3.0.3 Released!
The program will be update automatically, then the schemes. you need just click "yes" few times.
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 3.0.6 Released!
And 3.0.6 Released. If you mod WH2 and since this week's update the dependencies stopped working properly, update, then regenerate the dependencies cache.
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 3.0.6 Released!
I'm new with RPFM. Can you provide me a link for tutorial of ETW denifitive edition(steam)? Thanks.
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 3.0.6 Released!

Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
And massive update 4.0 just released. Make sure to check the changelog here: https://github.com/Frodo45127/rpfm/releases/tag/v4.0.0 , because there are some breaking changes and there it says what to do about them.
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
Congratulations! version 4.2 schemas just broke the RPFM. Can't even use it now. YAY!

If there is an issue with the schemas (4.x schemas will not load in 3.x rpfm due to some structural changes), just do as the popup that appears when you update says: Go to Pack/Settings, hit Clear Scheam Folder, and then go to About/Check Schema Updates and update them. Restart RPFM after that.
If you want to keep using RPFM 3.x, you'll need to download the schemas from before the update and install them manually on the schema folder.
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
Hi Frodo how can I manually install schema? I just downloaded the newest version of RPFM and when I try to update schema error shows up "There was an error while downloading/updating the following git repository: https://githun.com/Frodo45127/rpfm-schemas". I tried to clear schema folder in settings and download it again but it didnt help.

Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
Hello!
Ive had ETW for years and just recently i started actually enjoying it and got into modding it. Im trying to edit stat_land table from the Absolutum Dominium mod to increase the unit size, (FYI i already know how to edit such values, ive been playing with customized sizes for a while now) but the RPFM ver 4.1.3. gives me this error (check attachment) while trying to open the file. As a matter of fact i get this error whenever i try to open and edit any table from any mod, so far i have only been able to edit and customize tables by cloning pathes and converting them into "my mod". Ive seen posts about updating the schemas and such but, since i got the latest one i dont thin that is the issue? Anyways, any help would be much appreciated

Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
Is this the continuation of the old Pack File Manager?
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
Sadly I have the same issue as El Santo Padre
Edit1 : YAYY I found a workaround. I open the tables I can't open with RPFM (such as units_stats_land...) with PFM. I then select all the rows I need. I create a blank file with RPFM and paste all the rows and it works !
Edit2 : Sadly it doesn't work as the two tools do not have the same columns for every tables. Some data is lost when pasting so you should not do that.
Edit3 : I may have found a workaround and I am going to test it in the future. It should work with the unit_stats_land table, which is the only one I had trouble opening with RPFM. What you need to do is open the packfile you want the table from with PFM. Then you open another session of PFM and you extract from the vanilla patch5 the vanilla unit_stats_land table. You then go back to the open modpack and you add the vanilla unit_stats_land table. You erase every vanilla line, copy paste the mod unit_stats_land table lines in the vanilla unit_stats_land table you added. Then you save the modpack, open it with RPFM and you should be able to acess the new unit_stats_land_table. You just have to remove the unusable table and voila. I checked every columns and found discrepencies in "Base Desity" "Cold Resistance" "Heat Resistance" and "Can do formed attack". I don't think it is worrying as the columns match each other. If you open vanilla tables with PFM and RPFM you have the same discrepencies too. As I said it needs to be tested but it looks like a small workaround. I love PFM but it is so awkward to use and keeps constantly crashing.
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
Just a quick question - have you tested the PFM with Pharaoh? Would love to see it work for Pharaoh TW...
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
I have been using RPFM 4.2.7 for a couple of years and have successfully created two fairly simple mods for WH3, (for the Dwarves and High Elves), where I have only changed a few values in Unit values.
Now, trying to create another mod (for Bretonnia) a couple of months ago, I find that RPFM won't open up anything. I can create the name of my new (Bretonnia) mod, but that's as far as I can get. Doesn't put the (empty) new mod in it's usual box ready to create a DB. Also RPFM won't open up any Pack files in the game Data folder, so can't pick units to mod.
I've tried deleating totally RPFM and downloading it again, but doesn't make any difference.
Creating the first two successful mods I closely followed the tutorial, and found it quite easy. Everything was / is in place that is needed, so why won't RPFM work properly now.
I will be very grateful for any suggestions.
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
First time trying to use RPFM 4.2.7 Build Startpos feature. I created a new pack file and saved it to the Pharaoh data folder (game is installed on Drive D). Pack file contains only the start_pos tables that will import from the Assembly Kit. I cannot select a Campaign ID to start the process (no campaign ID selections appear). Any advice or clarifications to the RPFM instructions that will allow the creation of a new startpos.esf would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM) 4.0.0 Released!
Hi everyone,
My micro mod doesn't work anymore since the last Warhammer 3 update(s), so I wanted to redo my mod.
I'm using rpfm-v4.3.4 ... but I can't find the db part in data.pack ... here
Did I miss a step or is there a problem?
Thanks for your help.
