These are a series of folk dances from Transylvania (central Romania), called "fecioreasca", danced initially only by unmarried youngsters. The best part is toward the end (at about 1:25), when the music stops.:thumbsup2

Bungee jumping from Vidraru Dam (166 m high, second place in Europe after a Swiss Dam, one used in that James Bond movie i think). The place is actualy close to Vlad Tepes Dracula residence at Poienari Fortress, in a very cool area
This is the third place in Europe, Rasnoavei Gorges (just 140 meters high), another very cool and spectacular area
A so called "tiroliana" (traversation from one crest to another over the precipice attached to a rope/cable zip line) is available too on both locations

Romanian cooking is a mixture of Balkan cuisine, European influence, some traditional recipes handed down from generations and original takes on well known dishes from the area. It's a mixture of great flavours, and if you manage to eat from a good cook, you will love it.
And I'm not saying that, I've had countless friends from Europe and America come over here and enjoy it. :yes:

It depends on what you're looking for in a vacation. Romania has mountains, beaches, flat land, lakes, almost every geographical feature you could think of that could make a great vacation.Quote:
