Firstly, thank you so much for doing these scenarios! It is hard to put into words how superior an experience they are.
I recently learned Napoleon's Eagles was separated from the main NTW3 mod. Big thanks to whoever manages the YouTube account, they let me know about the Eagles. It's been years since I updated whatever my old install was, but I have a new machine now so I wanted to enjoy all the Historical Battles again. So many new ones!!
One issue I have at present. If I select the launcher, choose a historical battle, it will launch the game as it should and everything appears to be fine until I attempt to play a HB. I play them single player, as a multiplayer game on Local Network.
When I select Local Network, I get:
Problem is steam is already running! If I close Napoleon, and simply restart it via steam and not the Napoleon's Eagles launcher, it will work fine and I can play the HB.Quote:

Just restarted working on Fuentes de Onoro files, I hope to have it delivered mid August with new version 9.5 of Napoleon's Eagles stand alone mod for NTW.

Follow the Emperor's Eagles from the first great victory of Castiglione to the last defeat of Waterloo. A mod for NTW with 35+ highly detailed battlefields and scenarios. We are proud to announce release of version 9.5 of the Napoleon's Eagles mode for NTW with the battle of Fuentes de Onoro, the struggle of Massena to save Portugal and his career with a victory against the rising star of Wellington.
This multiplayer mod has been part of NTW3 mod package from the very start and is now available as a stand-alone mod. The mod is compatible with the version 9.5+ of NTW3 mod by the Lordz Modding Collective.The NE mod deals with the historical engagements of the Napoleonic Era. A number of historical scenarios had been developed with the purpose of giving players an opportunity to fight and, importantly, change the course of the battles of the Napoleonic Era. NE mod aims at achieving a good balance between historical accuracy and immersive gameplay, with a strong emphasis on realistic representation of Napoleonic warfare on both strategic and tactical levels.
Installation instructions:
(0) Ensure that you have a clean original NTW install and remove Napoleon's Eagles 9.0 and 9.1 if present by running the unistallers (can be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War)
(1) Download Napoleons_Eagles_9_5_2 , extract and then launch the installer of NE 9.5
(2) When asked for destination folder direct installer to the Napoleon Total War folder (normally, located on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War, but it will differ if your steam folder is located on a different drive)
(3) Wait until all files are extracted and installed (it is recommended not to switch to other programs during the installation)
A shortcut to NE launcher will be created on your desktop automatically. Enjoy!

NE ver. 9.5 comes with the new battle of Fuentes de Onoro, a brilliant victory of Wellington against Massena's challenge to free the besieged town of Almeda. A defeat that costed Massena the end of his brilliant career under the Emperor. The battle comes with an historical deployment and a free deployment option to offer the french player(s) some more grand tactical surprise, Also a smaller scenario without Grenier's corps and the british 5th and 6th divisions (that saw little to no action) to allow for more confortable 2vs2. Map has been developed from scratch with detailed topographical values and correct distances, it's not the same as the one present in NTW3.
Many fixes to other battles have been applied, Regarding gameplay a new set of Fog of War and cavalry speed has been set, something in the middle of last version 9.0 and the previous 8.9.
A new manager has been developed to offer an easier selection of battle directly on an european historical map. Battle can be selected also on the list box under the main manager title. Scrolling to the selected battle, clicking on it and the cursor will move to the right location ready for a mouse click.
