Guide For Cine_Edit Movies and close up shots
welcome to the Cine_Edit Basic tutorial for Only Stainless_steel "Mod"
here is the Basic files to open up your Replays and edit and play as the movie and can watch close up animations
1) if you want these files to open it properly you have to follow some instructions
Place these "2" files in your "Medieval II Total War" folder
2) then you have to edit the file a little bit for your "Directory"
3) * "open" render.cfg file with Word pad and click "edit" and Click "find"
there "type" [replay]. you will see section with directory which is you have to edit for example c:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\Stainless_Steel\replays\yourReplayfilename.rpy
may be you have a game in d: directory etc
*open cin-ed.cfg and with Word pad and click "edit" and Click "find"
there "type" [replay]. you will see section with directory which is you have to edit for example c:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\Stainless_Steel\replays\yourReplayfilename.rpy
And type [features] in the "edit" "find" menu you will also see section
called [features] there edit your directory
that's it
after you done those stuffs
go and play the custom battle game and save it in the specfic name in the replay
and set your "cin-ed .cfg file replay section place a specific name in the rply section
save all the stuffs and start the "cin-ed.bat" file it will load up the game replay and you can edit your self ;)
your are good to go if you have any problem feel free to ask!!
by the way
after you open the file successfully you may seems confusing so use the "s" key to zoom out the reply you have to use W,A,S,D TO HANDLE THE movement
Hot keys will be available soon

the closest ur gonna get is by removing the unit card bar by going to options while in a battle and changing the HUD (i thinkt thats what its called)

Re: Guide For Cine_Edit Movies and close up shots
HOLY ****< that's cool!!!
explain cinematic editor in detail, please
like , you save a replay from the game right? how? and then you make the directory in the cfg files?
Re: Guide For Cine_Edit Movies and close up shots
yep after you save the replay ok wait !!! you can only do with this in "custom campaign" after you winn or lost the battle it will show you that you have won the battle thre you will see
there click and save it in ""specific name"" this file directly foes to Stainless steel/Replays directry so give this path there
then you open btw you have to try it hard to find these thing out;)

Ive finally got it working and thank you very much matey. One thing though, the movement controls are awful. Is there anyway to rotate or use the mouse to move?
Re: Guide For Cine_Edit Movies and close up shots
yes perfect way to move is "Hold the right click " in the mouse ,then move around with w,s,a,d keys it's kind a video game movements ;)
