I'd post the link of this question to DEI's discord where most of this discussion went. It's impossible to ask a complex question there (i've tried), but you should post a quick one and link to this...

Sounds like a bug, if you have them sitting in an academy and they never increase. Have you tried sending them off for tutoring before they come of age too?
First, you shouldn't subscribe from steam if you want to have full control and remove steam issues. Even if that's not the cause, just download the mod outside of steam from the download pages. Steam...
There are many factors dictating how far your armies can move, most obvious other than terrain and weather, are the commanding general's traits and ancillaries, and any attached agents - both spies...
Good tip, that is probably it. The Thyssagetae city was recently captured, and made part of the province with Rauxa-alani starting town Rha. I'm sure public opinion was not great, but don't recall it...
I've noticed this but only in the Mithridatic Wars campaign so far. The Parthian faction (not recalling their actual name) lost ground and several newly spawned city states held a lot of territory...
Grand Campaign - Rauxsa-Alanna.
Faction begins starving as soon as you take Thyssagetae, if not before or soon after. Was in process of building up camps and sheep pens for supplies, but had no...
Mithridatic Wars, playing pontos.
Pontic marines and pontic marine archer garrison units missing from garrison, despite level III piraeus which shows they should be there.
I didn't have any issue recruiting their roster last time I played, but that was before this last Mithridatic Wars release. Without a unit name I don't know so check here, and you can see the reform...
Didn't see this reported. I can't recruit Pontikoi Epilektoi (Pontic Bodyguard) in my Mithridates campaign. Searched all buildings. You begin with one Pontikoi Epilektoi (Late) (Late Pontic...
The script for the sudden appearance of Roman legions at certain triggers is cool, and historical. But the stack spam in general still needs tamping down. If diplomacy worked better and AI were more...
Only a couple official ones that i trade out depending on the vibe - but currently only the gladiator submod for garrison variety - and classic graphical ones that I've always had like "Rome II HD:...
You can check out the mod Hellenika for an overhaul of the Wrath of Sparta campaign. They have a sick ancient Greek inspired music soundtrack submod too. But it became rough switching back and forth...
Looking forward to this, new almost nothing about this particular few years of history
It seems to work 95%+ since i've not encountered the dread fog, playing several times a week since your post. until now... AI initiated attack as usual so nothing to do but keep reloading, as it...
Fantastic, downloading now.
Don't know if it's bad luck or what, but getting tons of fog battles when attacked by the AI, and they're unplayable. Maybe when I added reshade something made fog...
Is this your mod to remove the terrible weather fog in battles?

If so any chance of adding it here for standalone?
Friendlies raiding my own territory - game killing bug. I know the team has to be aware of it, but perhaps don't often see it this bad. Playing Augusts as Antonius, so many client states. Have these...
That seems to be it! I'll try to find on TWC first, either way will use and report back... It's crazy how hard it is to find, partially due to search engines turning up only fog-of-war cheats.
Just start one and see what the differences are, then go back to what you were doing. I've only played Co-op. If I had to guess, in head-to-head you have the option to take control of all opposing...
Does anyone have a mod for this? Can't search effectively for these terms on TWC, and googling this results only in spam about fog-of-war cheats.
Talking about the terrible "fog" weather on...
Nice! What DLC will this be based on?
Never knew that, thanks for posting this. Going to be using this a lot to skip the tracks that weren't mixed well in the music mod I use (I can't even hear them under normal game sound settings so it...
Raising army cap is not the solution for captains though. I love the army cap, I loved my early TW mods for Rome1 and MTW2 but they struggled badly with stack spam.... it's no fun fighting 20 battles...
Now if DEI could just implement captains, everyone would be happy. Imagine if those guys could actually leave the city, and lead say, a half stack of men (not as many as a full general). And that old...
Solid review, and I agree broadly. I'm more of a role player though and don't want to worry about math, so some of the options that aren't "min/maxed" (or whatever the kids say now) don't matter to...
That. Plus there is a bug where sometimes an ancillary will be gained, but never shows up in the pool It seems more rare than it used to be, but I just had one playing as Carthage.
Pretty sure technically everything can take down walls, tho you would need dozens of Oxybeles to achieve anything meaningful and more time than sanity would allow. I know I've seen them finish off a...
On a related note, your phalangites are not in blocks 16 ranks deep. Some even look only around 8 :O
Excellent, and just in time for me having more time to game!
I miss this feature too. I'm always briefly nostalgic/excited in DeI when a garrison captain gets an ancillary, which is the biggest tease because you can't actually see it or do anything with him. I...
The amusing thing about this is, your experience being defeated by Carthage over and over (while having some Pyrrhic victories), sounds historically accurate. Its just that in real life, it was Rome...
I'm pretty sure the stats changed (and they are less powerful) but the AOR Maedi peltasts and the Cordinau Orca (Scordisci infantry with sicas) are very strong. The Agrainians are good too. Easier to...
If you're already at thorax reforms that army looks too weak against Romans who always seem to be at a similar or higher level of reform (even though you didn't list numbers of units). Where are your...
Not sure about turn times, the best solution is limiting seeing that the AI is doing - there's a toggle for this in settings with 3 levels. But an SSD is #1 hardware for DeI. Unless you like waiting...
Assuming you use 2 or 3 units in a column - replicating that tactic, I would try charging the first unit of hoplites into their lines, then doing the same with the 2nd and 3rd. I would either charge...
It also depends drastically on what faction you're playing, so try an easier campaign.
My last 3 games as example. I tried Kolchis and found it nearly unplayable for this reason, unable to fend...
That's correct. I believe that's because the AI sometimes does stupid things like move them back and forth, or not land them to attack right away, and they would take too much attrition. I wish there...
Perhaps one day the DeI team can use some units from Hellenika to properly fill out the time period roster along with the plentiful Greek units already in game. I agree, not interested in Rome at...
Hey hey, its been a while and i was just going to try the Alexander campaign again when i saw this update - would the two be compatible?
Would love to have the stamina fix for less lag during...
