A big thanks for the guide, Chola!

I always thought the cinematic editor wouldn't work with mods...

Thanks, Well I can make advert video for SS, but just for small favor - to fix Polish banner for something like my avatar, cause vanilla banner is more like ahistorical white chicken

I think he probably used Fraps, then again, unregistered fraps only lasts 15 seconds per shot

You don`t need Fraps - Cinematic Editor renders avi by itself. About tutorial - almost everything you need is in those threads:
Unofficial Patch 1.2: Cinematic Editor - Total War Center Forums

Cinematic Editor Tutorial - Medieval II: TW Modding board. - Unofficial Community Mod Support - Total War - Message Board - Yuku

    Hope that it helps

It`s explained in those threads - you need second cfg file for rendering previously set up camera.

    Hi all,

Thanks for how to do the cinematic editor, I have a question though...How do I keep the Medieval2.preference from changing? When ever I enable the editor, everything changes like the graphics options and the event scenes and campaign micromanagement turns off.

    Thanks in advance.
If I can't cheat, how will I get through school???

ahh your having problem so next time when you place the cfg files just backup the Medieval2.preference . after your edition and fun over backup the cin-ed.cfg stuffs and replace the medieval 2.preferances.
[simply do the back up every time you go to edit]

you dont even need those if you just want to take screenshots you need only 2 which is -Cin-ed.bat, cine-ed.cfg- files these two will give you screenshots
mate btw read the first page because that will explain everything it's hard to go over again.
    then ask questions
