    Yes.Before I knew that there were other screens, I tried different angles hile my units were in a battle. I can move the camera around fine, I just do not have the camera path screen. It is wierd.

    Edit: Nevermind! I just had to maximize the botom cin-ed tab. Thanks for your interest and help.

    All right, now it is time to figure this whole camera thing out. It is a bit overwhelming, but I'll keep the progress posted. Hey, Chola_Kingdom, thanks!

    Ok, i've been over this thread at least 15 times and I am still having no luck. I am not running the Stainless Steel Mod. I tried to retype in the directories and just when everything looked like it was going to work, the game pops up a warning and says "Medieval II encountered an unspecified error and will now exit" ...... basically saying "your a retard hahahah"

    i've tried probably 20 different variations of the .cfg file to make it work and it is just not working. Can someone rescue me?

    hmm i hope i can but sadly iam working on kingdoms cin edit to work , if you dont have a ss mod this file is not suitable for you, it seems you are trying to get a vanilla version, for that i will give you the file in little bit later[within two days] i hope you understand my passion of Kingdoms cin edit to making it work.

    I completley understand. I am running vanilla M2TW with the Kingdoms expansion. When you get that to work I'd be more then happy to try out your files. I've tried for a while unsuccesfully. I even changed the executeable .bat file to "kingdoms.exe @cin-ed.cfg" and i still get an error message on startup. I hope you work it out.

    Here is where i'm stumped:

    i think you are alright until you made a mistake there ,
    change the [features] give mod path thre
    for example
    [features]

    editor = true

    mod = c:\Program Files\SEGA\ and so on.......
    i hope you will get this right

    EDIT:kingdoms mods dont have certain path to give it to the CIN_ED.BAT so until then we have to wait

    Kingdoms.exe file is not a proper path to give it to Cin-ed.bat since it dont load the Mods.

    EDIT: yes got it!!!!.
    paste this
    kingdoms.exe --features.mod=mods/teutonic @cin-ed.cfg
    in the CIN_ED.BAT FILE and you can load the CERTAIN MOD

    Greetings,

    Well, it has surely been a while since I've been on here. I finally finished with my semester, so I am a break for the holidays. Anyhow, first let me give my thanks to King Kong on yet another outstanding mod in 5.1. Thank you, sir. All right, Hellbent, I think this is what you are looking for. I've search throught the threads to find a way to get cin_ed to work with 5.1, and I think I got it. Forgive me if this is covered somewhere.

    Your .cfg file should look like this (please feel free to copy and paste):

    [audio]
    disabled = true
    #-------------------------------------------
    [camera]
    campaign_map_smoothing = 1
    default_in_battle = default
    fov = 75
    move = 30
    restrict = 0
    rotate = 10
    #-------------------------------------------
    [controls]
    campaign_scroll_max_zoom = 40
    campaign_scroll_min_zoom = 20
    keyset = 0
    minimal_ui = 0
    #-------------------------------------------
    [game]
    morale = 1
    blind_advisor = 0
    campaign_map_game_speed = 15
    campaign_map_speed_up = 0
    disable_arrow_markers = 0
    english = 0
    event_cutscenes = 1
    fatigue = 1
    first_time_play = 1
    fog_of_war = 1
    infinite_missiles = 1
    label_characters = 0
    label_settlements = 1
    limited_ammo = 1
    micromanage_all_settlements = 0
    mute_advisor = 1
    no_campaign_battle_time_limit = 1
    supply = 1
    unit_size = 300
    unlimited_men_on_battlefield = 1
    disable_events = 1
    #-------------------------------------------
    [misc]
    always_logfile = 0
    chat_msg_duration = 10000
    use_quickchat = 0
    tv_banner_mode = 1
    obstacle_cam = false
    #-------------------------------------------
    [video]
    detailed_unit_shadows = 1
    glints = 1
    gloss_mapping = 1
    reflections = 1
    smoke = 1
    splashes = 1
    unit_shaders = 1
    vegetation = 1
    shadows = 1
    unit_detail = highest
    building_detail = high
    terrain_quality = high
    effect_quality = highest

    #-------------------------------------------
    [debug_display]
    no_unit_cull = true
    #-------------------------------------------
    [cine]
    show = 1

    Now, your .bat should look like this:

    kingdoms.exe --features.mod=mods/Stainless_Steel @cin-ed.cfg

    If anyone needs an actual screen shot, let me know. You should be off and running and taking great screenies in no time. Again, my apologies if this has been done, but I thought I'd throw my two sense in and I hope it helped a bit.

    I tried earlier today and failed. The way I tried to get it to launch is the same way I launch SS (renamed kingdoms to launcher and changed launch options), and I got a fatal error.

    I'm guessing the problem is to do with steam.
