if it was a viking for example(though they are not pirates) the viking would beat the piss out of the ninja,
vikings = 200 pounds,
ninjas = 120-140 pounds.

Now just depends on how big the pirate is, if it's the same size as the small ninja then the ninja can win, but if the pirate is bigger then he wins.

Though the weapons arguement varies.

That's nonesense! The ninjas would never attack head on, they would use throwing stars or such against the smelly pirates/vikings and kill them before they even had time to notice. Besides it's not about weight, even a pretty noobie ninja should be able to move swiftly enough to be able to dodge the attacks and use the vikings weight against him .

But how are the pirates supposed to attack the ninjas then? Well, if they dared come ashore to fight, the ninjas would win since they are more agile than the pirates who has spent years on a ship.

I think most of these arguments boil down to a) would there ever be a mass fight between pirates and ninjas and b) how many pirates have there been, throughout the course of history, in comparison to the number of ninjas?

There's still 'pirates' nowadays, with AKs and grenades and technology. I think they'd slightly own the number of current ninjas, dont you?

Of course they would. But then the ninjas, being as stealthy and sneaky as they are,would find a way to go around to guy and slash his throat. They would hide in the shadows, and try to use fear against their enemies.

But then again, we are usually talking about pirates from the old days. The ones that say "AARRGGH"

I know, I was just highlighting another interpretation. I'm on the pirates side anyway, they're just a lot cooler and more manly than ninjas. yeah, ninjas may have a higher kill rate etc., but at least 'rats have a code of honour, and can have a bit of fun. I'd rather be a pirate, and have friends, than a ninja who everyone hates and can't socialise in case they are undone by their 'friends'.
