Sicily Faction

Sicily is my 2nd favorite faction in the game.

The Noman knights are great. I really like the Muslim archers especially on walls.

I used to play Sicily quite frequently in MP and it was my first faction in MP

. Loved the cavalry choices and the good infantry.

No matter the age, no matter the cost Sicily has got it covered.

I heartily disagree. In the late age sicily die very easily.

I haven't gotten to the late age with them yet and I'm just about to start over (SS4). But I'll be sure to tell you if I survive or not

By the time I reached the late age I'm pretty much just rounding up the last settlements to take victory.

Sicily doesn't have the best late roster but musketeers and Chivalric knights are a pretty good combination.

Since he posted here so often, I put Roshak on the member's list.

Also, in the Late Period, Sicilian units are still good at the least, they get Arquebusiers, Sword & Bucklermen, and the Norman Knights are still effective there.

Yes I find Sword and Bucklermen effective and still, the ever powerful Norman Knights. And I find myself still using a bit of muslim archers for cheap fire support rather than Arquebusiers.

Yes, I do prefer the Muslim Archers to the Arquebusiers or Musketeers (Do Sicilians have Musketeers in this). They are pretty good when fighting up close melee combat too.

I love the silicily faction, in my mind they have some of the best units in the game, the norman knights are just badass (and with the armored upgrade they look damn sexy), the muslim archers are my favorite archers in the entire game (besides scots guard NOTHING can beat them), they have a great starting position, have a high standing with the pope, AND they have one of the few units that can get there armour upgradered to full plate armour, they are in my mind the best faction in the game, and I always try to play with them, but since I have lusteds mod, it makes the beginning very hard, since no matter what I always go into debt.

I actually prefer the way Norman Knights look with chain mail armour on. Plate armour makes them look like generic Chivalric Knights, know why? Armour upgrade makes them lose their unique Norman helmets.

thats true, but for some reason to me there armoured upgrade just looks cool to, but also with the armour upgrade they get cool helmets (though not as cool as there starting ones, but pretty close)
