Guild Wars: Eye of the North

Anyone else excited? Only a month away!! I cant wait to get my hands on it. Make sure to buy it from the E-Store to get a free bonus mission pack that you can play to answer some of you most burning questions. I think its pretty common knowledge, but

I recently got back into GW, playing a Necro/Elementalist.

I don't have any of the expansions, I'd rather go through them as they were released: Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, Eye of the North.

I'm pretty excited for Guild Wars 2 though, finally races other than humans, jump button is in, no districts.

As long as races are purley cosmetic (Or have very minor buffs) I can deal with it. I dont want anything lame like "Norns get +10% attack power lawlz"

Im going to miss the instances in GW, but I have faith ANet will be able to do it right.

I agree on Racial Traits, they really throw a wrench in things and make it difficult to balance. It can be done but it's not really necessary imo.

I just can't wait to play a Norn. Celts that shapeshift into Werebears ala Diablo 2? Uhm, hell yes!

Charr are cool too, lions that walk on two feet, armed to the teeth.

I enjoyed the first game but wasn't impressed by either Factions or Nightfall so not sure about Eye of the North. I am taking some interest in GW2 though.

How cant you like Nightfall? IMO it was just as good as Proph (Meaning it was epic). The Hero system makes going places much easier... Stupid henchies dont know squat!

The improvements on the system were fine. It was the setting I didn't like! I loved Prophet because of the setting. Forests, hills and plains! Great stuff.... Nightfall ... sand, sand and more sand. What a drab setting! Still it was better than Factions which was complete garbage!

Eye of the north really looks great. A bit expensive if you ask me. It'll cost nearly as much as one of the 'full expansions' I read. Add to that the fact I have plenty of things to do in the previous games.

I used to be really excited, but recently iv lost my interest in GW. I try to play, but dunno the feeling is just gone. I am going to get this new one, who knows, maybe it will bring back the awesomeness.
As for GW2, im not very excited. I dislike MMO's, thats why i liked GW. I can just use henchies and heros and ill be fine. -Leon
