I'm currently reading J. R. R. Tolkien's "The Silmarillion". I've always wanted to read the Lord of The Rings books, as i really like fantasy, but never got around to it. But i finally managed to go to the library and get myself a copy of The Silmarillion. Ill read it first, then continue on to the Lord of the Rings.

Also reading Scott Adams "Dilbert and the Way of the Weasel". Scott Adams is hilarious I really liked "The Dilbert Future". Funniest books I've ever read.
I think some of the more recent versions of LOTR books are based on the movies...DO NOT READ THOSE! Make sure whatever copy you get is NOT adapted from the movie!

I am currently reading- The Crown and the Sword: The Rise of Solamnia

I recommend- Ishmael by Daniel Quinn

I tried. It wasn't my cup-of-tea. A review on amazon probably would help you decide.

Just finished Hannibal by Theodore Ayrault Dodge. Now I'm reading Attila: King of the Huns, the Man and the Myth. It should be a short read.

I am about to start reading Pnin by Nabokov which as I understand is hilarious. I might also continue my read of Sade's The 120 Days of Sodom in the bookshop. It has an illustration of multiple naked bodies on the cover and I'm too embarrassed to buy it.

So i just finished The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring

I know i was originally going to read The Silmarillion, but that was just too difficult for me to read right now. I'm finishing the other Tolkien books, then trying it again. So my comments on it.. Well obviously it was pure awesome.
How can one not like Tolkien's work? Having seen the movies however, it kind of spoiled the experience, even though the movies were very inaccurate now that i read the book.

And now i shall continue on to The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers

Right now I'm reading "The Roman Army at War 100BC - AD200" by Adrian Goldsworthy. I only have a few pages left which means that I am all out of books to read! The house is literally full of books, but none of them looks any interesting. I'm thinking about ordering some of Nietzsche's works.
