...this certainly got derailed.

I get worried when anyone starts playing WoW, they tent to go way overboard on that game and I'll never understand why. Maybe I should play it, if you can't beat them, become brain-dead like them.

No son...just no. I have had soooooo many friends tell me"Oh I just got the trial today" and then I scream at them to uninstall but noooo they just go on playing. Soon they start avoiding me, ignoring me, and eventually all I see is the little wow icon next to their name on xfire and they never talk to me again.

Wow kills people.

I introduced my friend Stephen to the game, and my room mate Steve (different guy) saw me playing and said that he'd played it before and it was fun.

Don't call it Gaylo, it's actaully fun, and I mooch off of X-box owners every chance I get.

I once saw a kid playing WoW on his laptop in the middle of a lecture at 7 a.m. He should have stayed home and slept.

Im feeling like the only one playing TW all norway!!!
Everybody in my surrounding plays WoW, CSS, Halflife and and other boring games...
When im showing my friends TW games they say: I have tried that before it was fun... NO! S-E!(my nickname) im not going to buy it! or: Oh! ill give it a go but ill always play wow. or: Medieval? - crap! I want real guns, machine guns!

I'm playing my own versions of Medievall II i have modded it with an extended america on the map check out the picture.

Seriously though I think there's quite a few of them, near me but since I don't go out much or near any real collections of society I wouldn't know.

All ways thought it be weird to play online and find that all that time your were playing someone across the street.

I am the only person I know of who plays it routinely. I got a friend into it but he has never tried a mod, only vanilla RTW, and got over it very quickly. The damned fool.

Luckily this net thing has strange communities with specific interests....

Yeah, non of my friends play this games, all i play with them is halo 2 and other xbox games.

Once i was on a bus a heard the guys in front of me talking about the Pope...suddenly he said "The damn Pope wont stop bothering with me, he always tells me to stop my war with venice". And those are the only guys i know that play it, a group of nerdy guys from 10th grade

I have a friend who introduced me to computer games, RTW included, who prefers vanilla.

Mtw2? I dont even know what that is, I'm still playing MTW1....

And the only thing R:TW is good for is as a coaster, a frisbee, perhaps as a scarecrow for birds, if you hang it up on a string outside...

the thing that makes me sick is! a lot of people tend to see this games as freakin complicated ahh the damned fools! they tend stick to those clickathons(games where you required excessive screaming, banging of the mouse, and $uck a$$ tactics like spamming! e.g. Online games) which are really BORING!

I am the only one around here, other than my friend, who only has RTW. I've been pressuring him to get M2TW, but alas, he does not want to pay the money right now for it, since he just got a Wii.
