Default Movies that demand a sequal

Ok what movie do you think should have a sequal

He man Masters of the Universe Final Battle

I remember taking my son to see this and after the credits Skeletor popped up and said "Ill be Back" Unfortunately he never was. He Man was all the rage back then.

And lets not leave out all the Dune books that havent ever been done yet.

There was a rumor about a 300 sequel. I know, what would it be?

I actually think there is a viable sequel for it - The 10,000. It's less known than Thermopoylae was prior to 300, but it's still a pretty epic tale, and would offer an even greater chance to approach it artistically. Since most of the action takes place in the Near East, rather than in Greece, the sort of exotic, almost alien themes that were conveyed to represent the foreign nature of the Persians to the greeks in the original could be conveyed by landscape too.

Plus, with Cyrus the Younger lauded by Xenophon, and the despicable acts committed by his rival (The execution of the Greek officers), you'd get a better depth to the Persians than in 300, having Cyrus representing the good and being supported by the 10,000, and when he dies and the Greek officers are butchered, Xenophon taking them out through a long march thick with battles and struggles.

I wouldn't really want it to go with a stuffy accurate approach, because that isn't what 300 was, and that doesn't seem to be what people want. Something more visual and artistic would be great with the Ten Thousand. It wouldn't be a sequel in the truest sense of the word, but keeping it numerical, keeping it greek, keeping the same style and approach with perhaps some references back to Thermopolyae, and you'd get a sequel.

Salamis and Platea deserve to be put on film at some point. The only downside to making these films is that it all ends up a bit political when it shouldn't.

Well the film is extraordinary accurate to the graphic novel even in that sequence. The last page of "300" is exactly Dilios making that speech and it ends with the spartans charging.

Pirahnas on an escalator? Next time, take the stairs.

But the Dune series really needs to get done. The Children of Dune miniseries (the latest) is the best in my opinion. If only they had a bigger budget...

Here are some sequels I've wanted to see:

    - "2061" (the next story after "2010" and "2001")

    - "Braveheart II" (where they focus on Robert the Bruce)

    - "Lost in Space 2" (more adventures with the Robinsons!)

    - "Spaceballs 2" (they can parody the latest Star Wars movies)

    - "Butter Battle Book" (not really a sequel, but it would carry on the trend of turning Dr. Seuss books into big-budget movies)

    - "Debbie Does Dallas II" (I never got a chance to see the first one)

I'd like a prequel to "All Quiet on the Western Front". A sequel would be boring (the war being over), but a prequel.....

You watched the He-Man movie and you actually think there should be another one? Your masochism is not morally uplifting to behold.

Dune is a fine novel but entirely inappropriate for film adaptation - too much abstract idea and talking. The movie flopped for precisely that reason. It just didn't work out.

Dune wouldn't work, its too long and complicated for an audience who have just watched harry potter and star wars

    No. Really.

Okay. You got me. I was just kidding.

    But seriously.

    Just kidding.

    Or am I? You decide...
