I'm not really a fan of Angelia Jolie. Kinda tired of her being the 'egger on' to the hero, feels like I was listening to her repeat what she said to Alexander in Alexander. I find her voice to be annoying too. That being said, I did enjoy the trailer for when she shut the hell up, and the CGI looks marvelously done, enough that in still pictures I've seen I've had to double take.

I liked 300 and sin citys but this one hasnt really impressed me looks like a computer game.

In my opinion it looks worse, and very grainy, compared to the Final Fantasy movie or Titan A.E. (even though it was a cartoon) that came out years ago.

Unless you count Grendel's mother, I don't remember there being any women characters in Beowulf. I suppose Angelina "Freak-Face" Jolie would make a fine Grendel's-mother though.

You're right though; there weren't too many prominent female roles in Beowulf. Then again, this is 21st century Hollywood, not 12th century Scandinavia and Britain. Certain "artistic" allowances must be made. In other words: Beowulf is going to be a crap-film along with Peter "artist" Jackson's Lord of the Rings and every Camelot/King Arthur film ever done.

I still want to see it though. It will probably have good killin!
