CONQUEST&AMBITION

Chapter 2

Waldislaw signed an alliance with Venice. There were deals too. And one of those, deals was millitary aid against, the Hungarians.

The Hungarians were, old enemies of the Polish. Both sides were raiding and, pillaging each other, in the constant wars they had. It was many months, until a battle was fought.

Trasnsylvanian Mountains.

The battle was confusing, and hard to traverse. The Polish Captain encouraged his men."The colour of the snow is old lets give it a new colour.
The men shouted, banged and insulted ready to kill.

The Hungarians split, their forces hoping, to catch the Poles off guard. But the Polish didn't, but would get seperated. After an hour the two sides, missile cavalry skirmished, while a contingent of Polish Nobles, attacked some isolated infantry. It was some time until, the rest of the two, armies colided.

By the time they colided, the Hungarian left, had inflicted terrible losses, on the Poles, were being beaten back. Those who had melee weapons, quickly did their job, hacking, jabbing, stabbing and chopping each other up.

An other hour later the, Hungarians routed. The Poles were victorious, but took a lot, of casualties but still remained, a fighting force. The Captain was promoted shortly after. The prisoners including the leader were executed.

i have never played poland before, so i dont know too many strategies for their position, but i did play them in the original mtw, anyway you asked for advice so

poland's faction color (pink) - initial expansion, should be followed by peace, very historical

blue - other slightly historical avenues for conquest

red - crusade territory

green - what i personally consider forbidden territory for poland, unless you absolutely need it

ps : america is okay for expansion

The war between the Hungarians, Venitians and Polish was called the

Venito-Hungarian War.
Poland had succeded, in defeating the, Hungarian field army, with a moderate force. While the Venitians praised Waldislaws decision. Yet Waldislaw knew, that eventualy that, the Polish and Venitians would go to war.

An other meeting was made with the council.

"Councilors now is the time to vote", announced Waldislaw.
"Here they are".
"All those in favour of us not taking any land say I", called Waldislaw.
No one said I.
All those in favour in conquest SAY I!"
"I!!!" shouted the council.
"Good we shall attack as soon as we build up our strength in that area".
"The meeting is over", said Waldislaw calmly, He was quite tired from that shout.

Then the army was notified and began recruitment.

Just one little point: When a vote is taking place the affirmative answer should be "aye" meaning yes rather than "I". If they're saying no its "nay". Otherwise good effort!
