cannibal (eat me)

MY girlfriend and I sometime drink out of the same cup. She is kinda sloppy on the end of the bottle sometimes and backwashes some. Now thats her DNA I am drinking, right? Is it cannibalistic to drink her DNA?

You don't hurt her? Besides, hunting and killing and eating flesh is old and the basic way to feed. Now, it's not normal if you hunt and eat your own species, for the basic rule of life is to strenghten your species.

So, nobody in his right mind would eat... spit in order to survive, therefore it's not feeding and can't be canibalism.

Its interesting that you draw rules based on social acceptability rather than straight up science. We are all born into the world naked and adapt to whatever the norm is of our surroundings. Religious bias and social bias thrust upon us, which isn't truth. Basically you can eat people and cannibalism is OK to do, but you will be out casted.....and the truth is lost.

When I drink her saliva, I am eating her DNA. If you want to justify it go ahead, if you have a problem with eating someone. I admit it and don't think its a big deal....

Nobody mentioned... religion in here.

Nobody denied you are... eating her DNA.

We are just saying it's not canibalism. And yes, "canibalism", the word, IS a product of social rules etc. Do you think animals care wether someone ate the flesh of one ones species? No.

And thereby, by asking whether eating your girlfriends saliva is equal to canibalism, you ARE talking about a social phenomenon, in fact.

Canibalism is eating the flesh of your own species, not their spit, how you could ever think that ingesting saliva is canibalism is beyond me. Anyway, eating human flesh gives you mad cow disease, best to stick to pork, tastes the same, less risk.

Eating flesh, spit, sperm, fecal matter... etc. It's all no big deal and is a metaphor for many things that are dictated on a human being sense birth. Laws, religion, and norms of acceptable behavior. Basically there are no rules if you are willing to pay the consequences of exclusion from society.
