Thread: Region Total War?

    Default Region Total War?

Has anyone come up with a mod where the scale of the game is much smaller is aspect? As in time moves on a much slower scale, population rates increase with the slow time rate. Like by turns being a month at a time, and the factions consist of many villages and towns which don't really progress much throughout the game, and a Castle being a factions "Capital"?

If not i was wondering if this was possible to create with the M2TW or Kingdoms game engine?

Iv always been searching for a mod where the game was as if you were playing on just a single region in the Grand Campaign where it was more than one lord fighting over it who were not governed by a greater force. Any response would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just to be a little more specific.

*Extremely slow population increase leads to tight recruit and economical balance
Like say you needed troops you would train peasants and send them to the castle and disband them to increase its population size but doing so would cause you to gain less money due to less people to tax, and a even slower population gain due to less men. And to keep from people just sending their whole populace to one town/village make it so you cant upgrade past town and squaller kicks in? Same with the castle?

*Slower building times and more building upgrades.
To represent the slower time rate and to have specific buildings needed to upgrade a village to a town.

*Small unit sizes, recruitment costs, building costs, and populations.
To show how small whole of the land is.

*Larger an army the less it can move per turn.
That way you would have time to gather your own troops to repel an invasion and to enforce a garrison in your villages to keep off small scale raids.

    Again thanks for any responses
