Seriously what was the point of making so goddamn many little smiley faces, that's terrible, you look like you're 5 years old.
And yes, they all wear uniforms, which can make them look like clones, however they have different facial features/hair.
this is clones
It sure looks like
From what i've seen I don't mind it that much as in Rome.
The most important thing with this is Uniforms. In the 18th Century most Armies/Units had very standardized Uniforms. Where it really comes to show is with the Barbariens/Natives etc. where you basicly are supposed to have a group of individuals.
+ desynchronised animations improves alot (I'm not sure if Rome had those)
More clones
Each unit has 4 different faces.
looks bloody good though eh?
well im sure that having the troops looking the same also helps to keep the framerate up.
Quite frankly i couldn't give a monkeys if they all look the same due to the fact that im trying to win a battle.
A little maiming never hurt anybody
Dam!!! Looks like the local shopping centre during school holidays!!! All those hoodies!!
are u serious those armies had different clothes weapons and etc they were of same costume and
weapons
this just a cheap clone Great achievement TOTAL WAR !!
They dont all look the same in the 2nd image
It's apparent you don't like the way CA headed with this game. The solution is fairly simple: don't buy the game, that way you don't have to complain about it on an online forum.
agreed...i remember in Medieval I hardly ever noticed the Soldiers Faces cause i was zoomed out most of the Time anyway. Initially this might seem like an annoyance but imo once you get past the initial eyecandy stage it really doesnt make a lot of difference.
and yes, i think this has a rather big impact on the framerate...
errr different weapons and outfit,, that dosnt fit the timeframe at all.. in medival 2 soldiers were pesants who if lucky were given some armor ect. they were recruited but either got a bit of gear or brought their own (nobles). i believe in empire's timeframe most soldiers were recruited into the army as a proffession and got all their equipment handed to them, they were thus identical. (you may notice soldiers today all have the same camo types ect when their from the same country, i should know as i am a soldier in real life).
edit: your right, i dont know about the indian recruitment types used during that timeframe but since you said every unit and didnt mention india apart from the screenshots, you should clarify it more so people relize its a factional issue. not a spread one.

There is a thing called freedom speech and if u donot like what i say u are not forced
to read it or even comment it .
And when Sega does this Epic commercials i expect something more than
some different faces wich actually all look like brothers.
White 935
I think u didnt read or noticed the thread in India was nt any of the things u speak
Oh yes different belts
those troops in reality were wearing totally different clothes in colour and shape weren't regulars in European way.
