Custom Battle - All Faction Unlocker

There's no need to keep searching for factions in the file, guys. Julius has made a packed a patch.pack file that allows you to use every faction with units (not all of them had units) in custom battles.

elephants were fun, but they got chopped by cavalry and i lost the game...just

but it was fun for a while as they mowed down his infantry

your opponent does NOT need to have this patch, it will work even if only you have it

Morroco is sucky though, only 2 or 4 units loadable... Could it be possible to make a patch to remove them as well?

Wow, this is worth me trying to install Empire on this old system.

I'm curious if someone who has it can tell me - Do the Afghans have a Jezail musketeer type of unit? Do the Persians or Khiva Khanate have any unique units? Do the Mughals get anything neat, or the Mameluks?

Yeah I think I saw a "Jezail" something unit for the afghans.

I had persia with full stacks of islamic swordsmen and archers and my general on an elephant, Early period. This dude had a puny french army compared to the hordes of persians so he bailed before my army was about to hit his lines.

300 Seems to have turned out differently.

Thanks Nostradamouse. I have to assume the Mameluks have at least that light horsemen they were featured with? Also what's that furthest left Persian Musketeer called?

I did not check much Mughhals, however, I can't say I saw any different units between, say, Afghanistan, Marathas, Persia and Ottomans. (Persia and Afghanistan using units of both.)

Although it is quite possible that the mughals do have a special cavalry.

Gonna run a 5 sec check.




FINAL ANSWER: Mughals have Ahadis which are not featured in any Main faction.

As far as I recall, nope. Jezails would if CA was going with any degree of accuracy be highly accurate but slow reloading light infantry. The Ottoman's Light Infantry range from those Nizam reform light infantry to various other irregulars, but nothing in the shape of a hardcore Jezail guy.

What's the Ahadis? Heavy Cavalry?
