Welcome, Nzo. If you would like to play minor factions, I suggest using the All Factions Unlocked mod. If you would to play minor and emergent factions (e.g. Naples and Sicily, Norway and the United States) in the Grand Campaign, then I suggest the Empire Total Factions mod.

Is the code you have listed the one needed to unlock all the factions? Will this also unlock the Barbary Corsairs and Pirates?

The All Factions Unlocked link no longer works. It was either moved by the author or deleted....or that's what the screen shows when I clicked on the download link provided in the thread for the Unlock All Factions mod.
