Thread: hip63's 77 BC 2.2. Installer - New Download link

  1. #1

Default hip63's 77 BC 2.2. Installer - New Download link

This version has the latest hot fixes for 77 BC - Twilight of the Republix (updated: 12/04/2009)

    See installer thread above

    Install Instructions

77BC is mod-switch foldered. This means that it will not overwrite your RTW game, allowing the installation of other modifications that use the same system. It requires a non modified version of Barbarian Invasion 1.6.

To install the mod, extract the content of the 77_BC_TOTR_v2_2 file

    Run the installer

Direct it to your main RTW directory. The most usual is C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War.

If you have installed the mod correctly, a folder named 77BC should appear in the directory containing the BI folder

    77 B.C. - Twilight of the Republic v2.2
Welcome to the world of 77BC: Twilight of the Republic. An incredible array of characters bestrides the stage as the fate of both Rome and the known world rests in the balance. This is the age of Cicero, Cato, Pompeius Magnus, Mithradates VI Eupator Dionysos, Tigranes the Great and the Marian rebel Quintus Sertorius.

Brought to you by the F.R.R.E. Development Team. ENJOY!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

my eyes lit up at this and I must say I was mighty happy. Can I ask one question though, what has been added since version 2.0?

Nothing special, really. Only some wrong unit cards and descriptions fixed. So this is mostly for any new player that did not own version 2.1. Unfortunately, I deleted the changelog file (or moved it to some folder where I cannot find it).

In fact, congratulations must go to hip63. I did not add many new features to this version as I am reserving the heavy artillery for FMIR

Just to show my gratitude I will let you guys keep Messi in your team for a couple of years more.
Or you could send him to Real Madrid.

Life is more interesting when you are sorrounded by enemies (i.e. catalan supporter of Real Madrid)

Hope you enjoy these days too, old friend.

    Hallo

I haven´t played this mod yet, but an older version. In the older version was Caesar, so you can say there was a roman civil war. But always when i´m in the year 49 B.C. or so, i get a CTD when the roman rebels(Caesar) attack me(roman republic with Pompeius).
My Question is: Is there still a Caesar faction(called "new faction" in "descr_strat") in Version 2.2 and is the bug repaired that i can play against Caesar?

    (Sorry for my bad english)
