Honestly, for me, this show has been like therapy.
Same, man. I was crying during basically every episode for the last two seasons.

    Watched Pacific Rim.
Damn it, this was just Voltron/Voltus5. And I am not saying that as a good thing.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023)

It didn't create as much thrills and attachment to me as the previous ones.

    Black mirror season6,

Out of the 5 episodes, only 2 belong to the franchise, 2 are more twilight zone and 1 belong to Hitchcock present. Not as good as what it used to be.

Possibly I am in a minority in the thread, but I haven't watched any of the transformer movies.
From youtube reviews, it appears that the previous one, with the medieval lore and Merlin (lol ) was supposed to be the end of this series.
Is Rise of the Beasts directed by Bay?

Only missed the hype by ten years
Doesn't look particularly better than the (absolute trash) Nick Cage bootleg.

    Black Mirror Season 6

    Black Mirror, you say?
    You mean... American Horror Story.

Out with the Sci-Fi, in with the demons & werewolves.
    Eh, whatever.

I liked the Aaron Paul episode.

    Hostiles (2017)

On the one hand a good western movie, on the other hand I'm not sure if I find that change of mind of the two main actors towards native Americans so believable as the movie wants you to.

^It's not. Imo movies should not lead with a political message, let alone when it is a historical movie and the message doesn't mix with what we know of the era.

    The Flash (2023)

I liked the plot but at places the CGI was annoyingly bad.

    Community Season 1

    I freaking love Britta.
She pushes all my avoidant, self-sabotage buttons.
She'd probably not even like me.

Which makes Jeff Winger's choice in the finale even more puzzling to me.

    No Hard Feelings (2023)

Pretty funny! Just maybe for me a bit not believable that a more intelligent guy would be interested in a relationship with this kind of woman. Still, I'd be up for rewatching this some time.

    Not bad.

    "Not bad?"
First of all, who is dumb enough to think that
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
you can avoid blinking while taking your eye out with a knife :/

    Secondly,
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
it would have felt a lot less cheap if they went with the angle that the director filmed the first film and killed the nobody actors, in a desperate bid to make some money
instead they went with a ridiculous pastiche of stuff.

The point is... she was pretty far gone at that point.

Want to see a Steven Spielberg movie without Steven Spielberg?
Or a movie adaptation after a novel Stephen King wished he had written?
Or a movie version of Stanger Things?

    Super 8

It's not a masterpiece but it has some good moments.
    Alas,
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
the alien looked fake as hell.
    Bad CGI, Bad JJ.

    Meh.
This leans too much on nostalgia.
    Keaton was good but ...
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Nick Cage as Superman was the real show-stopper

    Also Ezra Miller is annoying.
