    Because

    A. For the purpose of modding, not sure how open-architectured the new game engine going to be, it might be another Shogun II where lots of explanations on why CA can not provide support for mods, but no one took action to make it mod'able.

    B. For Shogun II, some of the 3D->2D transformation is not as straight forward as the older game engine, at the least on the video cards we tested. I hope RTW II would be better, but it remains to be seen.

    C. I loved the RTW II Trailer, but not sure it is a movie with real actors or some super realistic game engine. The issue is, if it is with real actors, we would not know how good the new engine is, if it is shot with super realistic animation engine, then the overhead to create such animation would be impossible for most modding projects.

    as you can see actors and real fire.

    Yeah I let myself get carried away there sorry. Well in part because it's quite a leap for RTW graphics.

    Nudity can be allowed for historical purposes rather than titillation so we should treat it seriously.
