Got a few questions... Im playing the roman campaign, and I noticed that my faction's policy change from a stratocratic one, to a plantocratic policy... why this happened? pure curiosity!

It happen when infrastructures or level of city development had change. It also represent faction trend too.

You build cash crop branch of farm tree in settlement, thus triggers plantocracy policy for governor in settlement. Only some factions could access plantocracy though.

I had a similar problem, but nowhere near as severe, on my Armenian campgain. When I took Seleucia, eventually, every governor or family member I tried to place there was killed. Turns out a group of 5 seleucid assassins surrounded the city, and would take anyone out, until I deployed counter spies and assassins.
Your story does sound pretty cool though. A group of elite killers bringing down an entire kingdom by way of conspiracy and murder.

As a side note, that's why I hate fighting the Seluecids. Other enemies will send like one or two assassins after you, but the Seluecids will have like four or five assassins going after the same target. When bordering them, you really need to make sure you have plenty of spies and assassins of your own.
I always place one assassin in every city and every turn i send it out to ensure there are no enemy assassins on the spaces next to the city.

My Parthians after a migration yielding some 80000 denarii (wasted on mercs...) in plunder. I have a problem though: i can't seem to find a way to build markets above 3rd level (so no city park or paradise) and my eastern barracks only allows me to train 'skirmishers', 'archers' and at the 3rd level onwards, 'heavy persian cavalry'. Am i doomed to only use this and sparabara (from colonies), leaving behind the true awesomeness of the parthian roster? Please help a poor n00b out.
