Instalation problem!

Guys i install both eb1.1 and eb1.2 in my rtw 1.5 folder but couple of things happen!
First my screen just freezes on start(EB start screen)
Then there is this when i try to apply preferences

00:51:32: can't open file 'EB\preferences\preferences.txt' (error 2: the system cannot find the file specified.)
00:51:32: can't open file 'EB\preferences\preferences.txt' (error 2: the system cannot find the file specified.)

And this when i try to activate trivial script!

00:32:59: Row: 0 Description: Failed to open file

PLEASE HEEEELP!

Run EB first, then exit when it's loaded, then everything's fine again, but before running it, did you run the validate install exe? if not, run it, then run the gae

EB takes quite some time to load, wait at least five minutes before exiting manually.
In which folder did you install the Trivial Script? Sounds there was a problem during installation progress.

Install RTW+EB not under Program Files, run the installer with administrator-rights, How to install EB might help you.

I installed trivial script in RTW folder.
And i waited 20 minutes and it froze anyway!
Yes it is in c/programfiles and my account is administrator!

I would go for a complete re-over. Uninstall RTW+all components of EB. Then install new.
Stick to the guide I've linked for you, if you got questions post again!

Followed the installation manual from letter to letter and still it is the same!
I doubt that problem is in my comp
Fore example i have:
512MB ram,ATI RADEON 9950 with 256mb,1.6GHz running processor and MTW2 runs like a charm on it!
Also i have apllyed every fix for 1.1 and 1.2.....
Even installed RTW to C:\Activision\Rome - Total War!

So any more recommendations?

You got BI installed - should be no problem for EB to load on RTW
You got 512 MB RAM - EB is heavy, it maxes all possible aspects of RTW out, so yes, EB is slower than MTW2, but after 20 minutes of waiting it should have been loaded
You got many stuff inside the RTW folder (like \yui_2.5.0\), should not be a problem, but can be
All the fixes installed - good

Do you have Nero on your OS?
What OS do you have?

The reason for your problem has to be on your PC, or has to be your individual software/hardware build, because it works for most other people.
Please try this:
Create a new shortcut to RTW.exe
Open the preferences and add to the target line: -mod:eb -show_err -ne -nm

Nero(as nero burning room and stuff?)....ok now im confused!
What should i do with nero?

Wait, i think i saw something earlier, did you install the EB script (not EB) in the RTW folder? maybe that's the problem, the script and documentation should be outside of RTW, maybe C:\Program Files\Europa Barbarorum\TrivialScript\

The main EB progran NEEDS TO BE installed inside the RTW folder

If you patched to 1.2 then you only need to apply the 1.2 fixes not both. As for Nero, it is has a protection mechanism that can prevent the game from starting, if that is the case you should be getting an error message when it crashes, you can try uninstalling Nero to be sure.

Yes Nero as in Nero Burning ROM. Do you have it?
Did you make a new shortcut?

Have nero...renamed those video and audio ax....
maked new shortcut...freezes!
Il wait till i get 512mb ram(should be in few days) and then write here if there was any change at all!
