Yeah, I am not sure about Europe, but in the US typical beer drinkers are your pilsner types. If you say you like imports, ales, or anything but the common beers, then you are a "beer snob."

I decided a some time ago which coincided with my discussion with elfdude. He advised me to keep the name till the application process is over not to mislead people. I had this nickname idea for years but had reasons not to use. It's completely strange how it haven't been used before here.

I often find that a change of nickname and/or avatar causes a difference in how the person is perceived and/or acts. It is an interesting question how much of one's internet persona is tied to the appearance (nick, avatar, signature) and how much persists despite all "outer" changes.

In Chicago? That is the time I had a Blue Moon. I also had my fair share of Goose Island, the 312.
One thing I missed about the US is the plethora of microbreweries. The good, the bad, the ugly and the OMFG, I can die right now beers.
