Wow, seems like they are really hauling out all the big guns, no pun intended, for this game.

    repost for page 10

    1.64 player Multiplayer matches
2.Graphics are on par with Crysis 2
    3.has singleplayer campaign(unlike BF2)
4.Frostbite 2.0 allows full urban city maps with fully destructible environments(whole skyscrapers can come tumbling down)
5.Integrated ANT engine allows for extremely realistic AI and player movements
6.and most importantly, DICE for battlefield 3 has put PC players as first priority over console players

and yes DICE really is going all out with this game

    That´s awesome Jaketh...
I hope that the implementation of fully destructable skyscrappers doesn´n make the maps smaller :o

They are setting expectations high and that always worries me, hope you don't need a super comp to run this.
But I am looking forward to this game.( would have liked to see a WW2 version with the new graphics though)

the guy who wrote the gameinformer article suggested if you want to play the 64 player maps on max settings you should make sure you have a very good computer cause they got a hands on DEMO of the PC version

Wait until price of game goes down and the super comp parts will be cheaper as well 6 months after it comes out. Worked well for me getting BF:BC2 for $15 and buying a significantly better comp for cheaper in in Oct than March.

Came into to BC2 six months after, hard at 1st because of weapons and didn't know maps but after a month or 2 I hold my own and/or one of the better players in the round. The lvl 50 guys are good and I get owned by them sometimes but its not a deal breaker. Win some lose some.

Been playing since 1942 and while things change its just like riding a bike. I got BF2 right when it came out, waited on 2142, hadn't played any BF games until Oct 2010 when I got BC2.(took a year or more off )

As I get older to me its not as important to get every game I want to play right when it comes out.(Although I got Elemental:War of Magic right when it came out)

But I can understand not wanting to fall behind in exp./ranks for these addictive FPS shooters.(Main reason I quit BF games before, played wayyyyyyy to much)

Skyscrapers though will prob consist of at least 6 floors so perhaps the size of the map goes up instead of outward.

I'm kinda tired of Modern Warfare settings now. Can we just go back to old WW2 setting or do I have to play FH2 until they go back to 1942?

well, they have cities like Paris or something so at least there's new stuff. But otherwise, I don't see the reason to get back to WW2 all of a sudden. We just left that era after a long time of abuse... let it rest.

Could of been a FH3 with BF3 but unfortunately mods are a no-go. Why the hell not.

The detail in that video is ing killer. It says gameplay and sorta looks gameplay but I dont think so. It shows one player peaking round a corner like in Gears of War... pretty sure you cant hide behind objects in BC3 so I dont think the video is a real gameplay video but if it was that be sick. Oh and the size of those buildings is ing awesome and I cant wait to get this game. One building at least 20-30 stories. Might just be an unaccessible building off in the background or actual playable.

A lil bit but the map is prob 10 times larger... battlefield maps are always large and realistic.
