Damn, this must be best news I have heard for months! I hope Galloper realizes he's the only person who actually knows how to implement sounds for units, and the only person who can make (English) CoW experience so epic that everyone will cry manly tears of joy. No kidding. Sounds for orcs and goblins proved that.Now I'm downloading 1.4.2 version of cow, soon I'm update this mod, stay tuned

Yesterday I made the new version compatable with 1.4.3. There is also new accent for nurgle and added voices for basic chaos units in battle map.
I already edited first post, only one thing is missing - download link.
I haven't enough time to upload it, so I do it when I return home from work

Excellent news, Galloper. Chaos battle map voices have been almost as crucial as orc voices since beginning of CoW.
It's a bit fun actually, but after installing these 1.4.2 and 1.4.3 patches I thought these sounds were overwritten too... but yesterday I played a custom battle against orcs, and oh boy that grin on my face when I heard a wall of "Waaaaghh!!!" approaching me. But like mentioned, goblins sounds like orcs atm which isn't a problem since we get a new version soon

so wait, are all faction voices fixed or is it only for the orcs?
Last release have unique sounds for orks, goblins and chaos, also there is added vanila voices for empire, border princes, mercenaries.

Sorry for late respond, friend. Lets begin with Sylvania strat map sounds. You already make fine records, but If you don't mind I ask you make some adjustments.
You should work with export_descr_sounds_stratmap_voice
I stand for variety of sounds so I make more response on click than vanila Medievel.
Vanila have 3 response, for orks and chaos I add 8-10 responses, you may add 5 for most important commands. Important commands are which player hear the most: selection, movement, atacking.
On strat map we have 3 main characters: general, captain(skeleton), priest(it's someone like ghost with scythe). Spies and assassins are good as you already did them.
General, captain and priest should have different voices. General is Von Carstein noble, captain is skeleton, priest is ghost. Use different voice effects for them.
Please add more background depth to your phrases!
I mean characters shouldn't talk just "yes my lord", they should talk with more references to Warhammer world(sylvania, vampires, von Carsteins, blood sucking abilities etc). It's a fantasy game so more pathos and be creative
