For those who dont know me, Im madrush. Over my time on this forum I have observed some epic and revolutionary mods that changed the ETW game, and I have seen those who are not so hot (wont say which ). I have been takin lessons in video making by the famous Nanny as well as taking some great shots. Now I enter a new phase of my experince. Modding. This is my first mod/ mini-mod, so dont be so rash as to judging me lol, but creative critisim is welcomed .

    Description
This isnt a major mod like Darth mod and what not, this is a mod that focuses on one faction and rebuilds it from ground up. Jacobite mod is a scotland based mod that is Custom Battle and Campaign friendly, multiplayer questionable. As for some team members they have been removed for the lack of if any partisipation, nothing against them.

    Pom is all done

In the year of 1746, prince Edward Charles stewart, the son of king James leaves Italy from exile back home in Scotland to place his family back on the thrown which was wrongfully stripped from them. Landing on the coast to be greeted by a couple of shepards, he was even told to go home, Charles replies "I am come home". Sending out runners to gather the clans, Charles waited until a haunting sound of the pipes of clan Cameron rolls from the glens. The Camerons inspired the rest of the clans to follow (except for 4, 2 sided with england and the other 2 remained neutral). And so the rebellion has begun.

If you get permission from Pom then you could use his Great Britain units as the government troops against jacobites and from what i understand he may have other units in the works still.

    Good luck!

So this will be a "campaign"-mod also, not only a "custom-battles"-mod? I guess it will be quite hard to capture a highland-charge with vanillas battle engine. It will be melee, melee, melee until everyone is dead, which is not exactly how it really worked. But I'm being too realistic again. It's just a game!

Oh, and here is Hogarths satirical painting of the Guards (? don't ask me details) leaving London in 1745. I guess you allready know it, but just to be sure

SCREENSHOTS: couple of flags by Okmin
    Attachment 144086
Ha, the flag I requested from Omkin....you have good taste.

Sadly though, the 29th regiment did not take part in the Jacobite rebellion (they were in Canada at the time).

Edit: The 29th flag is only suitable for after 1751 when regiments became numbered rather than using their colonels names. After some research, I have found this picture of a flag carried at Culloden by Barrell's regiment of foot (later the 4th).

Edit 2: Found flag of North British Fusiliers, also at Culloden (pic 2).

I hope this helps as British flags from this time are rare.

I wish very much that some measures could be adopted to get recruits for the 29th Regiment, it is the best Regiment in this Army, has an admirable internal system and excellent Non-Commissioned Officers. Duke of Wellington, 12 September 1809.
The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. At Rotterdam, London, Warsaw, and half a hundred other places, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.
Sir Arthur "Bomber" Harris, Air Chief Marshal, RAF.

Never in the field of modding was so much owed by so many to so few
    . Bang on! Huzzah!!
