Hitler's religious beliefs or lack thereof is ultimately irrelevant. He was a professional liar, a populist, who would portray himself as a defender of Christendom when it suited his needs, while at the same time in private brag about being expelled from the Catholic Church. Hitler was sceptical of religious concepts, unlike for example Hess or Himmler who were both fascinated with the occult and Germany's pagan past.
