hi wolf, I have machinima channel on YouTube too, The Creative Assembly Machinimas, Could you please tell me Exactely which effects do you usually use in Sony Vegas pro? I can' t reach same level of epicness in my machinimas. What is your technique? do you record all at same time then cut or record only few shots? thanks.

    Hi Andrew,

yes, i know your channel Pretty good work. I use a lot NewBluFX-Effects (earthquake, shear energy and others) You can buy them for different editing softwares.
I film a lot of stuff but try to focus on what i need (it helps to edit the music you use later at first. So you got an idea how the rhythm is)
But you know Rome II - a lot of the shots are pure luck, sometimes i need to start 10 battles to get 1 single good army clash... And the weather changes all the time. And the new camera feature doesn΄t make things easier...
For this episode i recorded about 800 GB raw material. And i rendered it about 8 times - until there were no more dropouts. Sisyphus would be proud of me

    Cheers, Wolf

Very much appreciated Finlander I share this compliment with Kaisa. He did the cinematography for this one, while i edited it and made the sound/title stuff.

Default Can I have some Empire Edition Screenshots?

Because my computer died back in April or May or something, I can't play Rome 2 until I can afford a new one in a month or two. Which was fine because it was, you know, not very good.

But! Patch 15 looks pretty good. Quite excited to play Patch 15. Can I see some screenshots of the new stuff? Like the new politics screen and graphical effects and so on? Also, is there somewhere I can see the new build tree?

    Thanks in advance.

ps. i will rep you for screenshots*.

Dominion of Dust. A city of sand. Built your world of nothing. So how long did it stand?
A 100 years? Now wasn't it grand? Built your world of nothing. How long did it stand?
What did you think would happen? When did you think it would all fall down?
Domain of dust in a land of sand. Did yourself right, so let's feel grand.
Domain of dust in a land of sand. Now there's nowhere left to stand.

Do not know if it is really new and how visible it is in the screenshot but you can now see heat waves in the desert.

I'm not sure there can be a civil war on the EE campaign though, at least it doesn't seem to be the case. But it would be fun to have civil war within a civil war lol.

Yup, many folks report civil wars in EE campaigns. For most it happens when they erroneously follow the tool-tip to "maintain balance" in politics. These are no republics but dictatorships. One should aim for high power like you do.

Incidentally, this is historically accurate. There were many mini-revolts, side-switches, etc. during this period.
