The Total War series needs our votes!

Gamespot is currently running a 'Greatest Game Series of the Decade' contest. It's round 2 and the Total War series is up against the Tomb Raider series. Voting seems to require a Gamespot account, but it only takes about 15 seconds to set one up. Go vote!

Not as much as Total war. In fact, every TR game before the most recent one was so sexist that I see that as an isolated good game, not as part of a good series. It would never match up to total war though, it has nothing like the intellectual integrity, and it's basically QTE:The game

Well it's not like it's that important, but I like Total War, so I like it when the series gets accolades and exposure. Since it only took me 30 seconds to vote, and two minutes to make threads encouraging other people to, I don't think it was a waste.

I think you are underestimating the series. TW games are a worldwide market.

I understand. But when you compare the popularity between Total War and Tomb Raider, or, say, Silent Hill, then those games will win. Yeah, Total War has more than a million players, but the games I mentioned are known by billions of people.

I can literally ask 10 of my friends if they knew what Total War was; the response will be the same. "never heard of it".

But that's just here. I bet there are a bunch of places that have a bunch of Total War fans and love the series. I'm just saying it in my own perspective.

I don't plan on participating in such a subjective vote... what are they talking about anyway? Decade? 2013-2020? A bit early, mh? 2003-2013? Why now call it decade then? ^^ Starcraft had only one game in the last 10 years... so... People are voting based on experience before 2003 anyway... (Super Mario for example). Why these stupid matches 1on1? Why not a vote for all games simultaneous? So subjective.... Why not give examples for the games they mean? Super Mario for example: Which games do they mean? They had Super Mario Kart in the voting, yes, but what about all the other spinoffs?
