I didn't have much success with porting so now I'm going to try and flesh out the Assyrian roster more with some late period infantry.

Hey sorry for my long inactivity! I had exams so I wasn't in able to find any information or do any research, I am willing to help bit by bit such as making unit rosters (I prefer Hellenic ones since I am more experienced in that) and I can do research, I have a lot of bronze age books so if you can tell me what you need I can send pics to you about armor, helmets, buildings etc.
By the way you are going to make cities and villages from the bronze age era? I think that will take a lot of time to model, but maybe you can reskin existing buildings and walls from the vanilla rome 2.

You mean the armor, helmets etc? or more units in the roster? (I did the current Mycenaean roster).

just visual stuff, your roster is fine, only mercenaries of neighbouring cultures/tribes will be added

Perhaps next you could try a hand at that conic helmet with the turban we discussed some while back?

btw does anyone happen to have any assyrian illustrations i can use to base textures off

that shield... that shield.. OMG.. looks so much Mycenean. You are doing a great job and I am only worried that I cannot play this mod yet. Can you release some pack file with some units? I would like to make a new machinima for my channel about Trojan war was realistic skins.

yup, completely true, we will use the same animation and see how it sticks to the warrior. but most probably without a shoulder band.
