I'm really late with this, so I'll make it short: to upgrade or not?
I'm using Win 8.1, and despite all the hate it received for the interface, I'm pretty satisfied. It has been absolutely stable, running it for 3 years with no problems.
So traditionally I'm the one who thinks "never change a running system". On the other hand, I could still try out Win 10 and revert back (which I might do)
Key question is: will Directx12 be a thing? Currently not, because it doesn't make a huge difference yet and I don't have a newer gpu anyway. But, who knows what'll be next year.
The other thing is Mircosoft's data hogging. True, everyone does it, and Win8 does it anyway, but I still dislike it.
so, what's your opinion? have you upgraded, are you satisfied with Win 10, will it be important for future gaming?
